Today, we had an interesting conversation about Freud. The id, superego, and the ego were important aspects of the philosophy.

We used homosexuality to illustrate Freud's ideas on the developments that are "abnormal" according to traditional values. How would Freud describe drug addiction, alcoholism, or other "deviant" behaviors?
