good point guys...I think Chelsea is insightful when she points out the relativism of us saying "you are backwards" since we are only using our own perspective. Look at the patterns of history, maybe we are the "backwards" ones since we are destroying our own environment and economy...just a thought
no chelsea, I think you were right on point. I think it is interesting that in today's world, the states that were former French colonies are going through the same political problems as France right now. We will see the moral flaw that France and England had when they withdrew from Africa after 1945
