In the questions about Great Britan do you mean the well fair state???
welfare state should be what it says. The idea is that post-war Britain turned into a welfare state, but by 1980 that was being challenged by Thatcher's government. The hope may have been less about redistributing wealth but more about saving the British capital investment.

Yay for saving trees! But I didn't know about the online study guide until we got it in class, can you tell us when you post syuff like that, so we know to check it?
